Translating
Our interpreting and translation service is based on the principle of forming connections, matching a project with suitable language professionals.
Our BSL translation is a highly technical skill that involves translating complex written documents from English into BSL. BSL Translators work between written English and British Sign Language (BSL) (in contrast, BSL/English Interpreters work between spoken English and BSL).
Our team of experts translate every day news, work and educational information.
Communication Support Work
Our Communication Support Workers help Deaf individuals to communicate with in their workplace effectively and with other staff.
They ensure there is a good level of understanding within the workplace or establishment.
The role of our CSW can vary depending on the needs of the individual they are supporting. This can include:
- Helping individuals with understanding and producing written materials
- Adapting learning materials to enable the individual to understand more clearly
- Suggesting ways the environment can be improved to make it easier for the person they are supporting
